Authentic Barcelona
Barcelona is the second most important city in Spain after Madrid. Barcelona is the capital of the Autonomous Community of Cataluña. It´s ports is one of the busiest there is in all of Europe. There are about 1,600,000 people living there. It´s development is due to the people´s personality and disposition. (See Hotels in Spain)

They say that Barcelona is the most European city in Spain because it is so open-minded in accepting new ideas and discoveries. It is a very avant garde city. This can be seen in it´s development and in the way of life of the Catalanes. Barcelona is a cosmopolitan city that is very modern.
This city has so many interesting things and immerse yourself in such as their architecture, glorious monuments, culture, history, see their industrialization, and nature. The weather is mainly Meditarreanean making it comftorable for many tourists from around the world. The city of Barcelona is very big and therefore the distances are far from each other. But, it is easy to to maneuver through the streets because of the way they are laid out.

It is lovely to walk through Barcelona and see the Barceloneta, the Old Vell Port, The Ataranzas, The Fusta Mall (that has an aquariam, restaurants, movies and stores). Going to the Plaza of Catalunya Port, Gothic Neighborhood also known as the Raval neighborhood, the Catalunya Plaza, go up some stairs to the Rambla of Cataluña or the Gracia Walkway that runs parallel from the Diagonal Avenue which has fabulous stores, boutiques, jewelry stores, restaurants and hotels. I could stay here and tell you about all of these beautiful things to see in Barcelona but wouldn´t it be better if you went there and saw it for yourself.
