Some people think that in order to know a city you must go to their stadium (which is very popular in Spain) therefore also get to see the markets, the people and the food. In this case Barcelona has a place near there that is named “La Boquería” which is a perfect place especially with the good service and exotic food tastes. Boquería is next to Las Ramblas which is considered to be the most beautiful street in the world and it is also close to Liceo. It is a large place to visit especially because it is 2,583 metres squared and there are more than 300 stands.

Boquería makes itself a different places to visit due to it´s cleanliness and freshness in produce. It is customary to walk through each hall and see different fruits, birds and flowers that will surely catch your eye. If you ever find yourself visiting Barcelona pry yourself away for a few hours and go to Boquería were you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner there.

Boquería is one of the most interesting places to visit in Barcelona especially because it gives such good service to it´s customers. There are some sellers that only have fish, or eggs or a specific ind of fruit or vegetable. For children, and children at heart there are a ton of places to visit with marvelous candy and pastries that you can savor already. There is an area were wine is sold as well as aromatherapy oils. There are cheese stands and book stands, as well. 

In the beginning meats were sold in limited quantities but not anymore making more people want to buy fresh meat every single day. Boquería is surely able to please all tastes and needs of the tourist. Never forget to go there if you find yourself in Barcelona, Spain.
