Christmas in Murcia
Christmas is one of the most celebrated holidays in Spain. We have seen how Christmas is celebrated in different places of Spain, including the existence of different Santa Claus. In Murcia everything is magical. Christmas preparation begin on November, were stores start introducing christmas ornaments to the customers. Everyone feels like they are living Christmas Eve ever single day when you are in Murcia.

Previously stated in Spain there is the awaited Christmas Lottery and the Chubby Christmas Prize (prize that is more than 1 million euros). This can be seen when people start lining up to buy the lottery tickets by the end of November.
Everything is magical in Murcia following up to Christmas Eve: the streets have Christmas lights, ornaments and the music begins to be heard every single day while people start walking around. The stores begin to fill with people buying gifts from Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men.

People in Murcia always help each other this can be demonstrated when you see people collecting money, clothing, toys and every other necessity that needy people do not have. This is clearly one of the most emotional holidays there is in Murcia.

What are some of the classic foods there are in Murcia? Let´s see, turrones and other festive candy. The main course in every Christmas dinner is stuffed chicken or stuffed turkey, meatballs with potatoes, crab legs and a good wine or champagne.
