Everything about Barcelona´s culinary art

There are a million restaurants in Barcelona that are not mentioned to tourists due to their simplicity. They of course should be recognized and named because they have great flavor. This is one of the reasons why Barcelona has a hidden culinary art talent.

We find Masías, which are old campgrounds restored that offer a simple cuisine that represent the typical foods the blue collar catalanes ate. Travel agencies sometimes organize big groups that go on special outings to these places.

We are talking about nutritious foods (most of the produce are from nearby farms) that are grilled. What is eaten the most is: goat meat, chicken, rabbit with garlic, steak, grilled vegetables (such asparragus, eggplant, mushrooms, zuchinni, green or red peppers) and other delicous platters that are sure to delight your palette.

These restaurants are full on weekends when families that want to eat very nutritiously go there and spend a whole day together.

Barcelona has other things and places to eat. There are big cafeterias that have delicous pastries smack in the middle of the city. There are fast food restaurants as well, and there are also international restaurants that are formal and elegant.
