It is divided in ten great zones that include/understand marine areas, a delfinario, an audience, humedales (with place for manglares and another one for the fens) and different zones from garden with more than 80 species different from plants. In addition, the visitors can cross stores, choose between the supply of restaurants (with one individual, submarine, where the clients can enjoy an immense aquarium that surrounds them). L’ Oceanogràfic, of the City of the Arts and Sciences, counts on technological equipment of last generation, audio-visual and interactive components that recreate the marine natural atmosphere and stimulate the sensations of the visitor during their trip by this 80,000 submarine city of m2. Whoever to contemplate dolphins they can happen through the delfinario - that counts on five swimming pools and capacity to lodge a twenty of unit, place destined to exhibit, to maintain and to reproduce dolphins mulares.

Malaga is necessary to enjoy it step by step, enjoying each typical corner, each street, each sand grain of its beaches. To begin the morning in the dawn, between the silence of the sound from the gulls, and the scent to sea that the dew brings to us. And to taste and almost to chew that sea and that sand that seems to float in the atmosphere of this open city. And when it has already dawn and the first sun rays shine in the city, in the only tower of our dear “Manquita”, the magnificent Cathedral of Malaga, to begin to enjoy its temperature, its gilded heat, and to hear and to feel as the city rises your around… Malaga, tourist city; Malaga, the capital of the Coast of the Sun.

This that I tell you it is a route that, like malagueño which I am, it would recommend to anyone. It would be that route to which it would take to who it loved to enjoy my city, looking for most typical of our earth. Desires levantaros early to You? Then yes, we began the day with energy. 6 in the morning. And we looked for the more emblematic high point of the city: Gibralfaro. On our feet the coast is had left malagueño, between mañaneras mists, the smooth whisper of the small waves breaking in the border. And in its Inn, the Inn of Gibralfaro we looked for parking for our car. You bet the cameras because on your feet a spectacle worthy is opened to remember. That photo that will remain in the memory, and that without a doubt some will be prettiest of how many you do in the city. On your feet, slightly to the right the city extends, with the Cathedral and the City council excelling between all the buildings. To its back the fabulous Fortress, worthy representative of one of the times culturally richer of Andalusia: the Arab time, with its kingdoms of Taifas. Right opposite yours, watching the sea, the Malagueta, the Bullring that so well-known has become in the bullfighting circles. The Malagueta, next to the sea to which it is opened, and that extends almost until its same slope, grandísimo port and the Park that gives access to the city, conforms the most typical photo of Malaga.

Tomaros the time that you need until seeing appear the Sun in the horizon, between the trees of the Stroll of Reding, from the Eastern coast. You enjoy the spectacle of colors that their reflections produce as soon as it is opened to your eyes, and savor as in the distance the city seems to stretch to welcome a new day. Little by little the day begins, and the city recovers its habitual pulse. You take advantage of to take forces with a good cafelito in he himself Inn, in its terrace, and immediately afterwards you raise a little more until reaching the Castle of Gibralfaro, just upon the Inn.

The Castle of Gibralfaro opens to 9 h. so you have time. By hardly two euros vagaréis among the walls of which a day lodged a mosque and that were connected to the Fortress by means of already disappeared the running one of Coracha. You return to the car to again lower to the Gibralfaro mount and dirigiros to the Marine Stroll, in the direction of downtown. A good place to leave the car is the Stroll of the Lamppost, mainly because it is an ideal place to enjoy an pleasant stroll next to the sea and the Port when still it is morning and does not tighten the Sun. You raise until the very same feet of the Lamppost, and from you lower there bordering the Mediterranean Club, next to beaches of the Malagueta. That way you will leave to the Source of Three Thanks, the one that presides over all the set of the Park of Malaga. In he himself beginning of the Park, from the Seat of general Torrijos, we were the Gardens of Dark Door, designed by architect Guerrero Strachan, a small park with terraces, public squares, footpaths and alcorques. Its situation is privileged person, and from him precious photos of the set of the Fortress and the City council of Malaga are obtained, that data of end of century XIX.

The Stroll of the Park, just reformed at the beginning of the 2007, is the true heart of the city. Sources and 800 meters of pleasant strolls between sinfín of tropical and subtropical plants that will take you seat to an opened, of a great marine flavor, and where preside over with their imposing image the statue of Marquess de Larios. One is located right to the entrance of the main street of the city, now peatonalizada: the Larios street. Inaugurated in 1891, to take a walk by her it is a delight for the tourist more, than by the beauty in himself, that are not excessive, if by its terracitas, and their stores. The tranquillity of which in all the historical center of Malaga cars do not circulate, makes pleasant still more. At the end of the street, by hand right we almost were with the small but typical Passage of Chinitas to which there is to show itself. And in front of him, the Seat of the Constitution, a seat of very Central European style: great, opened, and of design, but surrounded by buildings by more by a century of antiquity.

We continued our way, crossing the Seat until entering Granada street. The mediation, after to have crossed another pair of seats, and by hand right, we will see the one that stops my taste is the prettiest street of the center of Malaga: the street San Agustín, typically medieval. Paved with stones, reformed, that yes, and very relajante one. The buildings that frame it give a traditional flavor still more him: in the first place the Museum of Picasso, of forced visit, and a little advanced the Church of San Agustín more. From the principle of this street we obtain another typical photo, of a paved with stones street, narrows, with the Cathedral of bottom fitted between rows of balconies of flowers and small lampposts that hang of the brick walls. And at the aim we arrived at the Cathedral: the Manquita, by the lack of one of its towers. The Cathedral of the Incarnation, of centuries XVI-XVII emphasizes by its ashlar masonry, its Shrine, and externally by its Patio of the Naranjos, worthy to see. 19 the guided visits are from 10 to h. and Sundays until the 18 h. Probably it is, depending on the taken rate, the hour to have lunch. Two recommendations: or, we have been doing stopped by the way, and taking the typical tapeo so malagueño (cervecita and it covers) or we seated to have lunch. In the adjacent streets to the Cathedral there are very good inns and restaurants. If we want to also enjoy the chilly one of a precious seat, with views to the Palace of the Bishop (with a precious facade) and to the Porch of the Cathedral, we can eat in the Seat of the Bishop.

And indeed, going out by the Patio of the Naranjos Cister, we were in front by in front of the Fortress, the best testimony of medieval city that is conserved in the South of Spain: an authentic work of art whose feet the Roman theater extends. The Fortress is open of 9.30 h. to 20 h. and the entrance costs two euros, although a joint entrance with the Castle of Gibralfaro leaves by 3 euros. Raising the Alcazabilla street, by hand left we arrived at the Seat of the Favor, perhaps the seat more malagueña of all, where all the nocturnal and youthful atmosphere of the city is concentrated, and where in many occasions traditional swap-meets and celebrations are celebrated. To emphasize in this seat the Native House of Picasso. In this seat also you will find place very good where to eat: cheap like the Lettuce and the vegetarian whom there is, or of average prices like the typical Citron… and, by all means, many barecitos with its terracitas outdoors. The night falls, and has arrived the moment for lining up d new the Larios street to leave in the direction of the Park and the Marine Stroll to gather the car that we had left in the Stroll of the Lamppost… still we will have left things to see… but that… another day

But as by something we must begin, I have chosen one of unquestionable stars of the escape to Tenerife: to see the Teide. It gives equal in the plan that you go: in family, with the friends, of relax to a beach… if you do not dedicate a day to make this excursion, you will be losing one of the wonders of this wonderful island. If you decide to go in organized trip, you will not have preocuparte by anything: one “guagua” with more travellers will take you to the sites nails, starting off generally of the South or if you metheglins in the Port de la Cruz, by the Orotava. But you decide to rent to a car, our advice is that you do not doubt in crossing the island by its mountainous axis: starting off of the Hope (town located near the Lagoon) and continuing by the highway that will take you Park to the National of the Gorges of the Teide. Thus you will be crossing different landscapes as you are ascending, you will descry the cloud bank and as this one is entered in the forests, and you will have the opportunity to see the north and the south almost at the same time.

For the return you will have 3 main alternatives: by the south, arriving at Cliffs of the Giants; by the north, lowering by the Orotava, and to return by where you have come.

This summer, we had the opportunity to spend an incredible week in the Iron, the most western island of the Canary Islands. The Iron is an authentic declared paradise reserve of the integral biosphere (title that only shares other two islands in the world), which they inhabit 8000 people.

The origin of the Iron is volcanic, and most of its territory it is formed by recent lava. The coasts very high and are escarped, and any sand beach does not exist, although if there are natural swimming pools like the one of Tamaduste. The life in the Iron is very relaxed throughout the year, although reason why we could see, is animated enough in summer due to the popular celebrations of the towns, that by all means count on their popular verbena and orchestra with native singers (it is not possible to be denied that although very far from the peninsula we followed in Spain)

They exist in the iron multitude of places incredible to visit. We are going to see some of them of summarized form. The end of Orchila: The aim of the world The end of Orchila is the most western zone of the Spanish territory, and up to 1492 it thought that it was the aim of the world. Until 1885, meridian 0 passed by this place, represented by the light of Orchila. The Garoé: The Santo tree It counts the legend that. [… in the days of the conquest had in the island of Hero, (Iron at the present time) a tree to that the natural ones called Garoé, and did not know the students another similar tree in all the archipelago or well-known earth. This era able to distill the water of the mists that arrived at him, by its great leaves, being this collection in hoquedades done in the ground by the natural ones of the Earth. There was no more water in Hero than the one that distilled the Garoé. It was for that reason that the Bimbaches adored this tree as if a God it was, always guarding by their well-being and security…] The tree santo no longer is in the Iron, but in the place where always it was it planted one new one to represent the legend. The place can be visited to see in direct the pools that form there. The millenarian sabinas Sabinar of the Iron is one of the most surprising places due to the form in which these trees have molded themselves. The sabinas that are in the place, present/display twisted forms because the violence of winds and the climatic conditions have been molded during centuries by. A place to visit without a doubt.

If you want to travel to the Iron, you can find more information in its official page of tourism.

Located in the Atlantic Ocean, next to the coasts of Africa and comprising of the Canary Islands, Gran Canaria is an island of resistances, lives and with great natural wealth. It is for that reason that was declared World-wide Reserve of the Biosphere by UNESCO from year 2005. And it is that Gran Canaria is an island that surprises by its diversity of landscapes. It turns out incredible to find, in so short distances, zones of barren dunes next to leafy forests, or impressive cliffs near interminable golden beaches. Flood of forms and colors, Gran Canaria surrounds by its vistosidad and its joy.

Numerous beaches of quality have made it famous in the interminable world, emphasizing among them Maspalomas and its dunes, the indómita Güigüi and tourist the Quarries. And that is not everything, because in the south of this island we will be able to lose in anyone of its numerous coves and naturistas beaches to us. But this island offers still much more. For example, in the Palms of Gran Canaria, capital of the island, we will have to our disposition a great amount of proposals to occupy our time of leisure: Theaters, museums, sports, music… everything within reach of our hand. Between the multitude of places to cross we do not have to lose to us: The district of the Vegueta, precious route to enjoy the vision of the canary typical houses, with its beautiful wood balconies. Here we will be able to visit the Cathedral of Santa Ana, dated in 1497, and the Atlantic Center of Modern Art, in which the works as much of canary artists as of beyond the Atlantic are exposed. The Canary museum and its impressive collection of rest guanches, the original inhabitants of the islands. The Canary Town, created by the canary artist Néstor of the Tower, that is located in the Doramas Park and shows the beauty of the canary architecture. The canary Garden, botanical garden with which one is to protect to the native species of the Islands. Other points of the city that we do not have to let pass are: The House of Columbus, the Museum of Beautiful Arts, the House Museum of Benito Perez Galdós or the Audience Alfredo Kraus.

Already if we go away to the South, we enjoy the varied opportunities of diversion that offers the coast of Maspalomas: sport wharves, aquatic parks, golf courses, submarine activities, etc. And it is that between the 21 municipalities of they compose Gran Canaria, each one with enchantment and own personality, we can find much to discover. They emphasize among them Arucas, old and proud city of his extensive plataneras plantations, their gothic cathedral and its Mountain of Arucas, from where the Vista is magnificent; Telde, illustrious city of raised streets, that count between their treasures with more than one hundred archaeological deposits and more than seven hundred catalogued goods of ethnographic interest; Mogán, and its beautiful landscapes of flowers and fruits; Teror, and its “dirt roads” through which formerly they passed the cavalries. In this last named municipality one is located the beautiful basilica in honor of the Virgin of the Pine and the House of Doña Teresa de Bolivar, wife of the Simón Bolivar, colonial style. On the other hand, its gastronomy also is a strongpoint that the tourist makes return to visit it. Their wrinkled Popes, the “Old Clothes”, the broth of fish, the potaje of watercresses, the rabbit in salmorejo or the “Old one sancochada”, among other plates, will make them become lean the fingers. Exquisite desserts, like the Bienmesabe, and a wine with denomination of origin of “Gran Canaria” will finish convincing it. Gran Canariais connected so much with the Iberian Peninsula as with the rest of the archipelago thanks to regular flights that land in Gando, its only airport. In addition they also work the service of flights charter towards different European cities. And if we preferred to travel in boat, there is no problem. We can beyond take one of the ferries or jetfoils that communicates the Port of the Light of Gran Canaria with Tenerife, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, and, with the Port of Cadiz. You do not lose our recommendations on hotels in Gran Canaria.

Extremadura seems, at first, a land of barren landscapes, product of the image that produces the strong heat to us caused by the so level sun and its landscapes. Long plains that trim the highways that cross it. But between the cherry trees of the Valley of the Jerte, and the National Park of Monfragüe, near the Edge, we were with a beautiful city: Plasencia. The blazon that in its day granted Alfonso VIII, founder of the town, indicates that Plasencia hides after the towers and the rest that are of their wall “so that it pleases to God and the men”. A full town of churches and palaces is Plasencia. A place where one breathes tradition and withdrawal in many of his streets. It is the aroma that is breathed by great part of Extremadura and its towns, condensed here, in a few streets: the palace of Monroy, the one of Marquess de Mirabel, the house of the Hoops where Juana married the Beltraneja and Alfonso V of Portugal. The house of the Dean is one of the oldest buildings of the city, of century XVII. In the building corner emphasizes its balcony mainly doing and, the heráldica of shields of all the families who inhabited it.

The Episcopal Palace is of century XV, although it was finished in the XVI. At the moment it welcomes the Diocesano File and the Library of the old school of the Jesuits. Its facade is Renaissance, although it emphasizes his back part, so white, standing out over the walls that they give to the Jerte river. The Cathedral of Plasencia is its jewel, with a new part and another old one. Its construction was carried out between centuries XII and XVI giving to monumental image to an exquisite set in which they emphasize his vaults and their octogonal cupola, to that popularly is known like “the Melon”. In the heat of spring, to take a walk in the environs is a pleasure able to fill us the senses, because not only the Vista enjoys this monument, but also the sense of smell, by the naranjos in flower that extend the cathedral set in front of. Happening in front of the prison we arrived at the Greater Seat. Almost in its entrance, we were with the City council, in which it emphasizes the real shield that it shows in its facade. The present building is a reconstruction of year 1966, based on the old one of year 1523. Even so, the File of 1569 as well as commemorative inscriptions of the taking of Granada by Kings Católicos are conserved in their interior. The clock of the Council dates from year 1546, while the articulated doll that is seen next to the bell (the well-known as Mayorga Grandfathers) is of year 1743. It was destroyed by the French in 1811, but reconstructed again in 1936. The present data of year 1977. Finally, the Greater Seat, in the one than is necessary to savor the air that is breathed at the moments at which a traditional swap-meet is opened… And thus, between nostalgia of these traditions, and the tranquillity of its streets, we directed our passages towards the walls of the city, to lose to us in its History and to throw a last look to this satately city before directing our passages towards the near Monastery of Yuste.

The presence of Rome in the Iberian Peninsula extended for more than six centuries, larguísimo period of time in which the territory, in greater or smaller measurement, was adopted to the institutions and forms of government of the capital of the Tíber. One of the most outstanding examples of that romanización was Tarragona, the old Tarraco. Capital of the province of the Tarraconense (that almost included half of the peninsula), this present Catalan city supposes attractive a tourist one of first magnitude. The rest of the Roman time that keep in her, as much inside their Archaeological Museum are numerous, like in a brief stroll by their streets.

One of the most outstanding characteristics of Tarragona is the presence of two Roman forums, one for the government of the municipality and another one for the one of the province. This one last one we found it in the part high of the city of Tarragona, in plaça of the Forum, very next to the Cathedral. The peculiar thing is that this one was constructed on the rest of an old temple that at Roman time was dedicated to the imperial cult. It is a magnificent example of how the religious function of a space has remained throughout the centuries, in different stages. In the inferior part of the forum of the province the Circus is born, where to the flat racing and quadriga were developed, very appreciated by the Roman citizenship. At the moment, one conserves of this building a part of the launching slips and an inner gallery. Plaça of the Font, where we can find the City council of Tarragona, is constructed on the rest of this circus. And also is extremely peculiar the fact that the form of this seat is extended, and follows the same direction of which had to be that circus.

The three buildings (temple-cathedral, forum and circus) formed in their day the religious, political and idle life of the Roman Tarraco. Bordering them are the walls. The Archaeological Stroll of Tarragona, that follows the course of these, supposes an authentic trip in the time, backing down twenty centuries towards which it was the time of maximum splendor of this city. Two statues preside over it. On the one hand, the one of Octavio Augusto, first emperor of Rome, that directed from Tarraco happening of the Cantabrian Wars. And, on the other hand, a Capitolina She-wolf, symbol of the capital of the Tíber, donated in years 30 by Italy. A bastion of the walls constituted the Tower of Pretorio, that offers in its superior part a magnificent Vista of Tarragona and its beach. Next to this one, we found one of architectonic jewels of the city: the Roman amphitheatre. In an optimal state of conservation, the presence of a paleocristiana basilica powerfully calls the attention of its interior, raised in the sand. This one was constructed to remember the martyrdom of san Fructuoso, bishop of Tarragona in the years of the persecutions to the Christians in the Roman Empire, and two of its diáconos, Eulogio and Augurio. This way, a primitive place of leisure became monk during very many years.

All it offers the Catalan city of Tarragona. But he is not everything, since their environs also are scenes of many Roman rest, like the Tower of the Escipiones and the Arc of Bará (both on foot of the Route Augusta, present N-340, in the direction of Barcelona) or the Pont of the Giveable, a magnificent aqueduct to the outskirts. Without a doubt, when referring us to the Roman presence in the Iberian Peninsula it is necessary to speak of Tarragona. For the lovers of this old civilization, the visit to this city is essential. It supposes, in any case, a jump in the time that makes us remember the most important presence of Rome in this territory, that bequeathed numerous cities, public laws and works there where outside

This beautiful poem perfectly reflects feeling of that step by step advances by that magical temple, surrounded by colorful columns and voussoirs, red and white, that seems to mark to a way nonsignalized within a strange labyrinth of lights and shades. Advancing by its interior, without lowering the Vista, always watching at its arcs and their ceilings, we heard in the middle of the sound of silence, how our passages on the marble are lost in an itinerary without final order nor. But we begin by that she is perhaps one of the most beautiful seats than we pruned ourselves to find in Cordoba, the califal city that welcomes this impressive work of art that is the Mosque: the Patio of the Naranjos. In its center, and we try to inhale its aroma of April and May to orange blossom, coolness, freedom. And surrounded in that warm scent, we will remember how in Arab time, there, in that same patio the ablutions were made; as justice to the doors of the temple were distributed; we will watch towards another one of its sides, and will see like, or astronomers, mathematicians and so many and so many wise people who populated Cordoba with that one time propagated their knowledge between the people of on foot, and or comedians and teatros entertained with their legend and its stories to the children, who, seated crowded around themselves around to his. The Patio of the Naranjos, nowadays, is considered like the older alive garden of Europe, because their beginnings date from year 784, under the mandate of Abd al-Rahman I. If nicialmente, these gardens were basically formed by cypresses and palms, nowadays are the naranjos those that invade it: ninety and naranjos that was planted during century XVIII. Of century XVI, on the contrary, they are the claustros that in one of the sides of the garden we can observe. The enclosure of one hundred thirty meters, and closed, is divided in three gardens in whose center there is a beautiful source. … and once admired and inhaled the pleasant atmosphere of this magnificent garden, the heart shrinks when putting the foot within the temple and observing for the first time the impressive Room of the Columns… more than 800 columns and arcs that are distributed geometrically and that hide at sight back in the bottom, in a landscape without end. The one was the own Abd al-Rahman I that began its construction, building its first oratorio in the middle of century VIII, being inspired by a mosque that existed at that time in Jerusalém. The result was the construction of eleven ships with 110 columns in marble and granite, with Roman and capitals. On them, arcs vaulted in red and white colors. Their descendant, Abd al-Rahman III, ordered to erect alminar half century later, whereas Al-Hakam II extended the mosque more other twelve sections. Of the later time of Al-Manzor it is the part in which the columns are of blue marble, time in which almost the surface of the Mosque bent in size, until reaching the 24,000 m2 that he has.

The two perhaps more beautiful parts of the temple belong to the time of Al-Hakam II: the marble Mihrab, scenery rich working, and the octogonal cupola of the Kibla, with interlaced arcs. Of this time they emphasize the corintios capitals and marbles in blue pale and pink. Perhaps the construction in its interior of the Christian cathedral has been one of the greater aberrations than they have been possible to make as far as reform in the architectonic set, because a part of works made during the time of Abd was destroyed al-Rahmán III and Almanzor. Its construction began under the supervision of Hernán Ruiz the Old one in 1523, by express mandate of Carlos V, but it was not finished until year 1766. In him the styles were conjugated gothic, Renaissance and baroque; the ship and the cruise are in Latin Cross, with gothic arcs. The zone of the Alminar, tower located in the patio, from which at Arab time it was called to the oration, was covered by baroque elements, covering therefore, all those Arab rest that composed it. It would be necessary to emphasize two curiosities in this building: in the first place, any mosque assumes that there is to be oriented towards Mecca…. this one in particular, in spite of being the third most important one of the world, is not it, because its direction is towards Damascus, city by which felt passion Secondly its Abd al-Rahmán I., the situation of the Mihrab. The Mihrab is the most sacred place of Arab nobody tmeplo, because it remembers the site that Mahoma prophet occupied in his Mosque of Medina. It is the arc or located place in center of the wall of the Kibla, that marks the direction of Mecca. In the case of the Cordovan Mosque, the Mihrab is not located in center of the temple, where it would have to be; and this must to later extension that made Almanzor, that when making it by the Eastern part, because no longer it had left more space by the other sides, left its location off-center. … and once admired this wonder, declared Patrimony of the Humanity, already only we have left to lose us by the narrow narrow streets of the district of the Judería… but that, that is another history….

The day in Granada, and watchman of his city, always wide-awake, the Alhambra raises itself arrogant on the hill of the Sabika, between brown, poplars, elm trees and hazels. To its side, the Darro and the Genil; to its backs, high the summit of Sierra Nevada. And it, sublimates, imposes her respect and its “nazarí” elegance. Ever since in 1238 king Muhammad I put his first stones, this architectonic set already began to stand out like one of most imposing of the world. Each patio, each room, each palace, each garden, has a characteristic seal, a poetry note enrolled in its walls in form of engravings, gratings, waters and flowers.

The most classic entrance is that one to which it is acceded from the center of Granada, raising the hill of Gomerez. Under the Door of the Justice that gives entrance to all the set, the subjects of the town were judged. According to it says in he himself arc, it was constructed by Yusuf I, and finished in 1348. This tower of Justice is characterized by its double arc vaulted in brick, in which they say allusive mentions to the power of Wing. Once we crossed this door, we were inside with three zones differentiated clearly: the part of the Fortress, lodging of the military trimming that was in charge to defend it, and leaves older from all the set; the zone of the Nazaríes Palaces, that are the authentic heart of the Alhambra, by their beauty and its importance, and the gardens of the Generalife. Also it is of great beauty and worthy to visit the palace of Carlos V. The Fortress: Once we crossed the Door of Justice, arrived at the Seat of the Rain tanks, from where we will be able to accede to the fortified part and the zone of the palaces. To mainly emphasize of this zone the Tower and its Patio of the Arms and the Tower of Vela. This one is raised like a great bastion on the city of Granada, that their feet have left there empequeñecida. Shown her we will obtain wonderful views of all the district of the Albaicín. Until it does very little, its bell served as touch so that at dusk the agriculturists of the fertile valley gathered and they left to house. The Nazaríes Palaces But the part of the Fortress shows incomparable views to us of all granadina Vega, the zone of the Palaces offers everything to us a cluster of art and beauty. And it is that each one of its rooms deserves a section; a shutdown; an admiration; a photography. Yusuf I rebuilt the Golden Quarter and the Mexuar, the first room that we will be, and that so many transformations have suffered throughout the centuries. Here the great court of the kingdom had his seat. In center of the room mozárabes that are raised until the ceiling, of Christian time are four columns. The walls are covered with tiles and in her it is the shield of Carlos V. Emphasizes a wood balustrade that gives foot to the choir of the room. If there is something it emphasizes of the work that bequeathed Yusuf to us I, that was without a doubt the Palace of Coseas, the one that was its official residence in the Alhambra. Their walls tiled in socles and the reasons for yesería that they adorn it are authentic wonders, that are tranforman in admiration, when we crossed them to enter the Patio of the Arrayanes. In him they are, without a doubt, many of the great profits of the nazarí art. In its center, a precious pool reflects the columns that surround it; their walls were decorated with yesería in geometric forms, and in them the orations directed to Wing abound. Its name must to the bulks of arrayanes that border the pool, and whose green color contrasts excessively with the white marble of the ground of the patio

Mohammed V, son of Yusuf I, bequeathed another one to us of great works of the set; the one that is perhaps the symbol more known the Alhambra: the Palace of the Lions and its famous patio. This palace is the part more baroque of all the enclosure. And even so, its light, its colorful one, its atmosphere, invites to the reflection, to relax, to the tranquillity; and it is that as much the Palace, as their Patio was constructed with that idea: the one of the rest. It must to the name to the twelve lions jets of the source that occupy the center of the patio and which they are created belonged to Jewish .

To the sides of the patio they are worthy to visit the Room of the Abencerrajes and the one of the Two Sisters, perhaps one of most beautiful of all the Palace. Crossing the Room of the Abencerrajes, we arrived until the rooms of Carlos V, composed by six rooms, of which, four, they were lived to half-full of century XIX by the Washington writer Irving, who wrote his “Stories of the Alhambra”. Finally, to mention the not less well-known Gardens of the Partal, constructed in steps, and between which one rises, the Tower of the Ladies. The Palace of Carlos V Right to the entrance of the Palaces we were with its Palace, in 1526. The building was in charge to the architect Pedro Machuca, and is raised in Renaissance style. To emphasize of him, mainly, its circular patio of 31 meters of diameter. The Gardens of the Generalife I advise letting the gardens to finish the visit. And it is that to take a walk by them it is a little while of incomparable tranquillity. They are so beautiful, so colorful, so refresh, that it pleases to forget all the fatigue, of all the stress of the day absorbing his scents; admiring its colors; feeling its corners. To see fall the day between its many trees and flowers is an unforgettable sensation. Constructed in century XIV, the Patio of Acequia is its more important part. Made up of arrayanes, cypresses, naranjos and rosales, they frame to one long drain that along crosses the patio, between crystalline water jets. In each end of the drain, two small sources in cup form. With the other, the patio of the Cypresses, runs a legend. Under one of its cypresses, the denominated one of the Sultana, saw the woman of Boabdil with one of its horsemen “abencerrajes”, which caused the death of the gentlemen of this tribe, which they were cut the throat of by order of the Sultán. Its magnificent stamp; its meaning in the history of our country; its beauty; its art, its poetry, has been worth to him that has been named candidate to appear between new the 7 wonders of the World

Located in the northeast of the province of Segovia, the Natural Park of Sickles of the Duratón river has a surface of 5,037 hectares. It is called “sickles of the Duratón” to the tube that the river has excavated in a zone of limestone rock (originated it makes 140 million years), between the localities of Sepúlveda and Burgomillodo. The Duratón river stagnates in the tube that gets to reach more than one hundred meters of unevenness in some zones. Its steep landscape lodges an important community of predatory birds , between which almost 500 pairs of lion vultures stand out, the real egyptian vultures, eagles, the travelling hawks and the azor. With respect to the flora, the opened forests of sabina to albar and junipers can be mentioned, and the forests of shore formed by ashs, willows, poplars, alders and elm trees. In the Natural Park also sectors of great cultural and historical value can be appraised. Among them are the ruins of the Monastery of Our Mrs. of Los Angeles of the Sickle, founded on 1231 by franciscanos monks. The old monastery collapsed in 1492, with exception of the church. In 1565 it was visited by king Felipe II, who impelled reconstruction works. To the site one accedes through waters of the marsh of Burgomillodo, respecting the restrictions that its situation within the Zone of Reserve imposes. The hermitage of San Frutos is a construction that dates from century XII. Declared “Artistic Historical Monument”, Don Michael was constructed by the monk, counting on a single ship, vault of tube and apse. In the zone also there is a cemetery, in which several tombs are conserved. Several routes recommended within the Natural Park of Sickles of the Duratón river exist: - Long Footpath: Linear route of 12 kilometers, begins in the Bridge of Talcano and arrives until the Bridge of Villaseca. In the period of young of the birds rapaces (of January to July), is due to ask for permission to accede to the footpath. - Footpath of both rivers: Circular route of about 5 kilometers, with average difficulty. - Footpath of the Molinilla: One begins in the Bridge of Villaseca until the Prey of the Molinilla. Route of a kilometer and means of going, low difficulty. Another option is the accomplishment of aquatic sports, like canoeing and canoe
