Pontevedra is one of many places you should take the time to visit. Pontevedra which is located in Galicia have many cultural things to see as well as to experience. There are a lot of buildings, churches and monuments that might be worth taking a look at. Many monuments are located in pretty plazas were you can sit and rest while admiring the scenery. Pontevedra in Galicia is a good worthwhile place to visit even if it is for a weekend escape.

Pontevedra is also a perfect place for young people especially ones that like to visit and immerse themselves in culture and tradition. The best thing of all is that at night this city turns into a party and everyone is invited to dance, party, eat and drink at different points of the city.

You must remember that the south of Pontevedra holds the ancient, old buildings that are very pretty to look at. If you are driving from Santiago de Compostela it is only a mere 60 kilometres to get there. Although if you do not want to drive for only 5 euros you might take the AP-9 or the N-550.

Getting there will be no problem especially because of all the signage you will be able to see. When you get there make your way to the principal plaza were it will be easier to know were to go.
