Getting around in Spain
If you are a tourist that is in Spain one of the most important things to do in the place you are located is getting to know your way around the area. By knowing what kind of means of transportation there is, is extremely important especially if you are planning on doing a lot of touring around. You have to take into consideration what you want to do, and what you are planning to take, so make sure that you choose the safest transportation there is. Ask around at the hotel they might have the best option for you. Streets in Spain have been around since the XVIII century.

Since the 1960´s the streets that have been used by so many cars have been made wider and have been paved again and again throughout the years. But be aware that the traffic jams in the area are very common and are still very present. Which is why if you decide to rent a car you should be aware that traffic jams will be present and that it might take some time to get from point A to point B.
Railroads have been around since the Civil War from 1936-1939. There were many new things that were added in 1964 and there have been electric fences added which makes it safer for everyone. 
There are many new train rides towards the Baleares Islands, Canary Islands, Veuta and Melilla. The four most important ports in Spain are located in Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao and Huelva. The major airports in Spain are in Madrid, Barcelona, Palma (Baleares Islands), and Las Palmas (Canary Islands). The major airline in Spain is Iberia.
