How Spain organizes their Christmas Eve
We have seen the way Spain organizes Christmas and other holidays in this beautiful country. The mayority of Spain is catholic, therefore most of it´s traditions are catholic such as the birth of Jesus. These special moments is one that is celebrated with anticipation and much awaited joy.

Each December 24th Christmas Eve is here and every Spaniard start getting together and celebrating. Families start sharing different activities. For example, men play cards while the women start preparing the delicous meal. There are different ways of eating a dinner depending on the area in Spain that you are located. For example in the Baleares Islands there are more seafood platters such as fish or sometimes meat. There is always good wine or champagne on this joyous occasiones.

The best is yet to come when the midnight bell has rung. The dinner table is again prepared with cider, wine, nuts, figs, pastries, dried fruit and more special wine.

There you have it, one of the most family oriented, stylish, elegant, classic ways to celebrate Christmas the way Spaniards do, all you have to do to be able to live it is plan a trip to wonderful Spain.
