More Museums in Madrid
The last time we were talking about two very important museums in Madrid that are exclusive in art. They are great museums to visit if you are looking for wonderful and unique pieces of art. Today we will talk about some other famous and important museums in Madrid such as the National Arquelogical Museums which is in Serrano Street. This museum has a lot of things that are based in the Spanish pre history of the XIX century.

There are impressive statues such as the “Dama de Elche” which is a statue that was done around 5 centuries before time began to count. Can you imagine how old it is? If we keep on going through this enormous museum we are able to see 4 leading ladies named “Dama de Baza”, “Dama de Galera”, “Dama de Ibiza”, and “La Gran Dama Oferente.” The first one named was located more than three decades ago in the old necropolis of Baza, Granada. Like “La Dama de Elche” it is an anitque statue, only this one is at least one century older than “La Dama de Elche.”

On the other hand “Dama de Galera” which also comes from Granada, from the Tutugi necropolis is algo a ver antique piece. This is an alabaster work of art and it is said that leading lady represents the Mesopotamian goddess of Astarté. “La Dama de Ibiza” is at least one century older than the others. It was found in the Puig des Molins necropolis in one of the Baleares islands. She represents the goddess Tanit. And last but not least is the “La Gran Dama Oferente,” who is older than Christ.

Another one of the important pieces to see is “Bicha de Balazote” which is very old as well since it dates to around the VI century before time. The Osuna Bull is another statue that is around since the V century before Christ. It really is important that you know al this especially if you plan to go to Madrid and visit every single museum there is.
