One of the most interesting and beautiful places to visit is the museam of beauty and art in Asturias. It is located in three building in the old neighborhood of Oviedo. The Oviedo has the Velarde Palace from the XVIII century, the Oviedo-Portal house from the XVII century. The museam was opened on the 19th of May in 1980, it is a place worth seeing especially if you like architecture.

This specific museam has more than 8,000 paintings, the most beautiful part of them especially because the museam has many important collections from Spanish artists. Every painting from asturian influences is located there. There are barroque style painting as well as new ones.

Fortunately the museam has it´s own Department for Preserving paintings such as preventing damages, restoring paitings to look like new, education and administration. So you can see that every single painting is safe by all means. This museam also has a library, a temporary exhibit room, a small theater with a podium, a room to rest, a garden to stroll, elevators and a few stores people can visit.

The entrance to the museam is free and it is open from Monday to Saturday. If you ever feel the need to visit this glorious area of Spain you must go to Asturias, and visit the Art museam were you will surely find painting to fall in love with, walks to observe nature and surely feel the calmness of strolling in Spain.
